SKF Recognizes Top Sales Performers With 2012 Heavy Duty Sales Rep Of The Year Award

ELGIN, Ill. – SKF has announced co-winners of its 2012 Heavy Duty Sales Rep of the Year award: SKF Western Territory Sales Rep Keith Dollar and SKF Eastern Territory Sales Rep Mike Hartman. The award recognizes SKF heavy-duty sales reps who exhibit a strong work ethic and personal sales growth. Through relationships with distribution partners, Keith Dollar increased his total sales by 18.1 percent, OES sales by 25.7 percent and WD sales by 15.6 percent in 2012. Keith held more than 80 TFO (trouble-free operation) clinics and generated a demand for SKF product among a growing number of end-users. He also opened a new account and is now helping in its growth. “Keith is a hard worker and a very good team player who exhibits a firm commitment to success,” said Jim Henderson, SKF Heavy Duty Sales Western regional manager. “I am proud to have him as an employee of SKF and a member of my team.” Mike Hartman’s formula for success – do whatever it takes – led him to increase total sales by 10.7 percent in 2012 and increase WD sales by 25.7 percent. Hartman accomplished this through fieldwork, holding product training sessions and attending meetings on Saturdays with purchasing managers to help solve problems. Hartman grew sales by more than 15 percent with his biggest account. “Mike possesses all of the characteristics of the consummate sales professional. His work ethic and dedication are unmatched,” said Ricky Groover, SKF Heavy Duty Sales Eastern regional manager. “SKF is fortunate to have such an energetic, talented salesperson and he is truly deserving of Rep of the Year.”
