ZWZ’s 3 MW Wind Turbine Spindle Bearings Won the Second-class Award of Science and Technology Progress Prize in Liaoning Province

The assessment results of Science and Technology Award for the year 2013 in Liaoning province was announced recently, and ZWZ’s "3.0MW Wind Turbines Single Support Spindle Bearing" project won the Second-class Award of Science and Technology Progress Prize in Liaoning province. The successful development of single support spindle bearings for 3.0MW wind turbines will fill the gap in the domestic market, reduce the manufacturing costs of domestic wind turbine units, promote the development of Chinese high-power wind turbine units and offer reliable experience for the development of other wind power bearings. Currently, ZWZ is carrying out technical cooperation with wind turbine manufacturing enterprises from many countries. It has developed 3.0MW wind turbine single support spindle bearings and 6.0MW wind turbine single support spindle bearings for lots of customers/ The tests from users have proved that the major indicators of single support spindle bearings for 3.0MW wind turbines from ZWZ have meet the requirement for use and achieved the advance level of the international same class products.
