Freedom Machine Tool, Rebrands for Continued Manufacturing Growth

Freedom Machine Tool, a subsidiary of Diversified Machine Systems (DMS), a leading designer and manufacturer of 3 axis & 5 axis CNC machine centers and custom CNC routers based in Colorado Springs, has announced a rebrand of their logo that will be reflected on all machinery produced after March 1st, 2014. In addition, Freedom Machine Tool will be releasing a new responsive website designed to universally serve our new and current clients which span a wide variety of manufacturing markets.
In 2009, Patrick Bollar, DMS CEO & Founder, recognized the effects the recession was having on the manufacturing sector and saw the need for cost-effective, small format, industrial CNC machinery that didn’t sacrifice the quality or reliability that the larger DMS CNC machine centers had become known for.
“When the U.S. economy took a hit, we knew we were going to keep fighting right along with our customers. Our original tattered flag logo depicted that ‘Stay and fight' mentality that we had,” explains Bollar. “We built a machine that our customer’s knew they could rely on to give them the best chance at getting through this.”
Since its launch, Freedom Machine Tool has garnered a loyal following as the manufacturing industry has slowly shown signs of recovery. Because of this strategic move, DMS has grown when other OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) have been forced to downsize – with the growth necessitating a move into a new expanded World HQ in mid-2013.

Freedom Machine Tool has contracted with top leading web design company, CoPilot Creative in Colorado Springs, to develop the new responsive design website reflecting this new brand as well as enhancing current functionality and adding new features designed to improve on the Freedom Machine Tool experience.
The Freedom Machine Tool 3 Axis CNC Router Product Line features the original Patriot 4’ x 4’, Patriot 4’ x 8’ and the new Patriot 5’ x 10’ that was debuted at AWFS 2013. Freedom Machine Tool also manufacturers the Orthorout, a specialty orthotic system for the orthotics industry.
