ZWZ realized batch production of Extra Large Steel Balls for domestic largest bearing

After research trials, Wafangdian Bearing Group Corporation (hereafter referred as ZWZ) finally overcame the difficulties in steel ball processing, and has started volume production of 250 mm extra large steel balls, which will be fit into the China's largest bearing being produced by ZWZ.
The technology and experience of manufacturing extra large steel balls is not mature in China, so ZWZ has to rely on its own engineering and technical personnel to repeatedly do the tests and adjust the process parameters so as to meet the roundness demand and other demands in the overall technological process. Now, the company is able to produce more than 100 balls of the same size as a group, filling the gap in this sector in China.
According to the company, a 250 mm diameter steel ball has almost the same size of a basketball, each weighing 65 kg. ZWZ Precision Ball Company has now manufactured more than 200 steel balls.
