A few days ago, the valves which the world-famous valve manufacturer AsianIndus adopts Baosteel Special Steel SUH3 and SUH35 valve steel products to produce were successfully used on the engines of the many vehicle models such as the new generation of YARiS, Vios, COROLLA and Corolla etc.of Toyota. So far, Baosteel Special Steel has established the stable cooperative relations with the international top five valve manufacturers such as Trina, Eaton, Fuji, AsianIndus and Mahler.
As the materials manufacturing the intake and exhaust valves of the internal combustion engine, only about 800g valve steel is used for the ordinary single passenger car. But it bears the harsh use environment of high temperature, high pressure and high corrosion. It is the key material which can ensure the safe operation of the engine.
Since 2005, Baosteel Special Steel has listed its traditional product valve steel into the important product series once again and created the condition for the high-quality valve steel polished bar production through a large-scale equipment revamping. Since 2006, Baosteel Special Steel valve steel production, marketing and research team has actively carried out the close cooperation with the international second valve manufacturer, the United States Eaton company and has gradually become the China’s largest valve steel material supplier of Eaton with the stable supply ability and product research and development capabilities. Since 2011, Baosteel Special Steel has started to supply to the European factories of Eaton and has obtained the best supplier award for many years in Asia Pacific Area of Eaton. In recent years, with the increasing competition of the Chinese automobile market, all the Japanese car companies have adjusted the strategy and increased the localization rate of the parts to improve the competitiveness of their products. Baosteel Special Steel valve steel production, marketing and research team has seized the opportunity and actively followed the related new items of the Japanese automobile engine so that the products have successfully come into the Japanese automobile market.
In recent years, Baosteel Special Steel production, marketing and research team has been close to the market, constantly developed the new products and realized the covering of all the series of the products from martensite to Austenite as well as the valve alloy. At present, Baosteel Special Steel valve steel has been widely used for the domestic medium and high-end American, German and Japanese as well as the independent brand cars.
