Bohai Steel Group Co., Ltd. Successfully rolled the world’s largest ring forging with outer diameter of 10 meters, height of 140 mm, wall thickness of 400 mm. In the past Chinese high-end large ring forging with diameter of over 7 meters were depended on import for a long time. Now it has been changed. The world’s largest ring forging marks the production capacity of Chinese large ring forging has achieved the world’s leading level and it is another new breakthrough in the field of Chinese key technical equipment. It is understand that the main equipment, ring rolling machine, for rolling this forging was introduced from German SMS Meer. The large ring forging can be widely used in nuclear power, military, offshore wind power, aerospace, petrochemical, engineering machinery, bearings, shipbuilding and other high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
