Timken Launches Tech Training Material Resources at AAPEX

The Timken Company launched four new training videos and multiple TechTips focusing on light vehicles during AAPEX. Two of the training videos support the Timken online predictive analytics inventory optimization solution, Demand Insight. The solution provides distributors a quick and easy way to identify and stock an optimal inventory mix that corresponds with their local customers’ current and future demand. Timken designed Demand Insight to support its distributors with valuable programs and technology designed to help them grow sales and profits. This year, Timken added medium-duty vehicle aftermarket demand into Demand Insight, which provided more functionality to existing automotive customers and introduced the system to commercial vehicle customers. More than 300 distributors and sales representatives take advantage of Demand Insight, which includes more than 4,000 parts with vehicle applications, to help stock their shelves. Timken also will release two videos – one on active seal encoders and the other covering super duty hub assembly.
