Precision bearing manufacturer Schaeffler UK has seen a significant rise in demand from design engineers for its publication ‘The Design of Rolling Bearing Mountings’, a comprehensive 200-page guide to rolling bearing designs for a variety of machines, vehicles and other rotating plant and equipment.
The publication is a useful guide for designers who need to select rolling bearings for a wide range of different customer applications across all industry sectors. The main chapters of the guide cover all major industries including vehicles; wind energy; rail; metalworking machines; paper machines; lifting and conveying equipment; steel mills and rolling mills; agricultural machinery; food; pumps; printing presses; ventilators, fans and compressors; gears, drives, prime motors/electric motors and precision mechanics (including optics).
Each of these chapters provides the reader with specific rolling bearing design examples, complete with detailed sectional drawings and technical data.
