Vestas gets 180 MW order in Brazil

COPENHAGEN, March 11 (Reuters) - Wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems has received a 180 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in Brazil, the company said. The order was for 90 units of the V110-2.0 MW turbine in Campo Formoso in Brasil, for a customer who requested anonymity, Vestas said in a statement late on Tuesday. The contract includes supply and installation and a two-year full service agreement followed by an eight-year customised service agreement. The turbines is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2016. Wind turbine orders with a value above 500 million Danish crowns ($73.60 million) are disclosed by Vestas as stock exchange announcements, while smaller ones are published as news releases on its website.
