SKF at ANUGA FoodTec: improving performance through a new approach to asset management

At ANUGA, SKF will demonstrate its expertise in asset management – and explain how this helped Nestlé to make improvements at one of its plants Gothenburg, Sweden, 18 March 2015: SKF will demonstrate its wide-ranging capabilities at the ANUGA FoodTec, including a detailed presentation of how its approach in asset management helped Nestlé to make improvements. SKF will also conduct discussions about the future of asset management and how to improve current asset management practices in order to impact line performance and reach business goals. “In many cases, taking a new approach to existing asset management practices – with just small adjustments in the way maintenance is managed – can have a huge effect on results,” says Egon Doyer, Global Business Manager for Asset Reliability Consulting at SKF. Doyer will present these ideas in depth at a special Speakers’ Corner presentation on Thursday 26 March at 10:30-11:00. In the presentation, he will explore the future of asset management through a range of topics, including: Trends SKF can foresee impacting the future of asset management versus trends seen 10 years ago How can industry players change current practices to be ready? A reference case from Nestlé Digital business solutions to support asset management efficiency Furthermore, at the show SKF will showcase industry specific sealing solutions, such as standard seals (radial and axial shaft seals, fluid seals) as well as application-optimised seals, made of FDA approved materials. One example is the blue ECOPUR 95A-blFG sealing compound that meets the strict requirements of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004.
