MHI Vestas wins Danish deal
MHI Vestas has won a contract extension for service work at the 21MW Sprogo offshore wind farm in Denmark.
The three-year boost from Storebælt follows operations at the project (pictured) since its installation in 2009 and comes with the option to extend for a further year.
Since installation, availability of Sprogo's V90 3MW turbines has averaged over 98% year on year and no main components have been exchanged.
“We look forward to continuing the good cooperation with MHI Vestas and believe that together we can maintain the fine performance of Sprogo,” said Storebælt head of department for structures and landworks Kim Agerso Nielsen.
