For Schaeffler, the North and Middle American market has major significance – as underscored by the 16 locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The race on the 2.131-kilometer circuit on the outskirts of Los Angeles is the last overseas event before Formula E arrives in Europe. On May 9, the teams will be competing in the streets of Monaco before traveling to the home round of Schaeffler and ABT Sportsline in Berlin two weeks later.
