High-performance chain oils for extreme conditions
For special challenges in the food processing industry, Klϋber Lubrication has developed the new, high-performance Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus chain oils. The series comprises synthetic high-temperature chain oils incorporating special base oils which ensure reliable lubrication at high temperatures. The new oils are used in hot environments with temperatures of up to 250 °C, as they are frequently found in the Industrial mass production of baked goods such as bread, biscuits, pizzas, cereals or tortilla.
"Even very good chain oils sometimes reach their limits when temperatures and speed of the baking lines in industrial bakeries have to be increased," says Aldemir Oliveira, Global Market Manager Food Industry of Klüber Lubrication. "We’ve encountered this issue in particular when our clients have added new bakery products which require different process parameters to their production line. This is where our new chain oils come into play."
Owing to a special base oil and additive package, the Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series offer extremely good wear protection. They show low evaporation losses and high oxidation stability for optimised relubrication intervals and reduced oil consumption. Due to their excellent antiwear behaviour, low residue and less fume formation, the use of the Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series can contribute to extended chain life and increased reliability of production equipment and processes.
Products of the Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series are ISO 21469 certified and registered according to NSF H1; they therefore comply with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570. The lubricants were specifically developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing industry. The Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series has been designed for the lubrication of all drive, control and transport chains subject to high temperatures and loads. They are particularly suitable for use in slow, medium and high-speed chain applications, in beverage can decorating, bakery ovens, as well as other high-temperature chain applications in the food industry.
