SKF to showcase its marine portfolio at Nor-Shipping

SKF and SKF Blohm + Voss Industries will be presenting their combined product innovations for the marine industry at Nor-Shipping 2015.
Gothenburg, Sweden, 25 May 2015: SKF and SKF Blohm + Voss Industries will be showcasing its combined range of solutions for the marine industry at the Nor-Shipping trade fair on 2-5 June 2015 in Lillestrøm, near Oslo, Norway. Visitors to the exhibit will see first-hand a range of solutions that can boost marine machine performance and reliability.
At the show, SKF and SKF Blohm + Voss Industries will be demonstrating an impressive thruster exhibition model, which will enable visitors to see for themselves the full range of its associated products and services. Everything from the bearings, gear coupling and lubrication system, to the SIMPLEX-COMPACT seal and the propeller sleeve will be displayed. In addition, supplementary services, such as condition monitoring and alignment services, as well as SIMPLEX-COMPACT sterntube seals and an environmental monitoring system for measuring and recording emissions will also be on show.
SKF will also be presenting an in-depth seminar on Wednesday 3 June that focuses on the importance of vibration monitoring for the condition of machinery. This will provide visitors with everything they need to know about predictive maintenance, and will provide relevant case study examples.

Visitors to the show will also find Reed Olsen & Schytz located at the stand next door to SKF and SKF Blohm + Voss Industries. The Norwegian ship chandler and marine supplier is the exclusive sales agent for SKF Blohm + Voss Industries products in the Norwegian market.
Visitors to the exhibition will find SKF in Hall E at stand 03-19. SKF and SKF Blohm + Voss Industries’ seminar will take place in the Thorn Hotel Arena between 12.30-14.00 on Wednesday 3 June and lunch is included for guests.
