SKF receives PSA Best Plant 2015 awards

SKF has received two ‘Best Plant’ awards for outstanding performance in quality and logistics in manufacturing excellence for its factories in St Cyr, France and Tudela, Spain. The awards were giving during the PSA Group Best Supplier Awards ceremony June 16th in Poissy, France. Aldo Cedrone, Director Bearing Manufacturing, Automotive Market, SKF says, “We are very happy to receive this recognition for our dedicated work achieving excellence in our manufacturing. In addition to the nominations strengthening our partnership with PSA, these awards provide further acknowledgement that we deliver on our brand promise and the high expectations set by the PSA Group.” Mr. Yannick Bezard, Purchasing Executive Vice President, PSA Group, says: “When our Suppliers meet or exceed our expectations on quality and logistics performance, it is with great pleasure we present them with a well-deserved award. Without excellent suppliers delivering according to our stringent requirements, we cannot meet our customers’ expectations. SKF is one of our top suppliers and we look forward to continued manufacturing excellence with the same dedication as now.” SKF has been a supplier to PSA for more than 40 years. The products supplied are bearings to the wheel-end, suspension, gearbox, clutch, engine as well as engine seals equipping several of PSA vehicle models. Recently announced, SKF supply the newly launched Citroen C4 Cactus and Peugeot 2008.
