Schaeffler and Rocky look forward to seeing Zandvoort again

The circuit at Zandvoort is a venue with very special memories for Schaeffler. This is where Mike Rockenfeller won his first DTM title two years ago, sporting the company’s colors. This year, Rocky is aiming to return to his winning ways on the North Sea following three race weekends without a trophy. The venue augurs well for him, as the 4.307-kilometer circuit is one of the German’s favorite tracks. With its fast corners, several good overtaking opportunities and location directly in the dunes, Zandvoort is regarded as posing a special challenge to drivers and engineers. Finding a set-up that is optimally suited for the mix of fast and slow sections is crucial. The fine sand that is blown onto the tarmac often makes for additional suspense.
