CW Bearing USA, Inc. Breaks Ground on North American Center for Design, Sales, and Advanced Manufacturing in Northville, Michigan

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Michigan (November, 17 2015) – CW Bearing USA, Inc., a division of Cixing Group Corp LTD (Ningbo, China) announced today that it is breaking ground on a new North American Center for Design, Sales and Advanced Manufacturing to be located at 15200 Technology Drive, Northville Township, Michigan.
CW Bearing USA, Inc., headquartered in Novi, Michigan, with Sales and Logistical offices in Tustin, CA, St. Louis, MO, and Charlotte, NC, provides sales, engineering and logistical services across North America in support of Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers, as well as OEM Manufacturers across a wide range of industries that include power tools, specialty electric motors, outdoor power equipment and appliances.
Cixing Group Corp. LTD (Ningbo, China) is among the top 10 bearing manufacturing groups in China. With seven manufacturing divisions specializing in a variety of radial and angular contact ball bearings, as well as needle bearings and other specialty bearing products. Global engineering, sales and manufacturing operations in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America support the CW Bearing brand to an ever expanding marketplace.
The new 50,000 square foot development project in Northville Twp. will generate a total capital investment of $25.9 million, while creating 125 jobs, resulting in a $550,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant from the state.

In attendance at yesterday’s groundbreaking ceremony was the Chairman of Cixing Group Mr. Hu Xiangeng, the President/CEO of CW Bearing USA, Inc., Mr. Lirong (John) Hu, Chinese Consulate General, the Honorable Zhao Weiping, Governor of the State of Michigan, the Honorable Rick Snyder, State Senator for Michigan’s 7th District, the Honorable Patrick Colbeck, Northville Township Supervisor, Mr. Robert Nix, and the CEO of REDICO, Mr. Dale Watchowski.
“CW Bearing’s decision to locate its U.S. headquarters in southeast Michigan signals to corporate leaders across the globe (Michigan) offers great opportunities for their business expansion,” Governor Rick Snyder said in a recent interview upon returning from an eight-day investment mission to China.
Construction is expected to commence immediately with completion targeted for late 2016.
