Annual Loading and Unloading Volume of Baosteel Co., Ltd. Finished Product Wharf ,Exceeded Ten Million Tons for the First Time

At 5:00 in the morning of November 27th, with smooth completion of "Xin Shun Long 9" ship, annual loading and unloading volume of Baosteel Co., Ltd. finished product wharf exceeded ten million tons for the first time. This was gratifying performance achieved by all employees of Baosteel Co., Ltd. Transportation Department in the enterprise's fight against "severe winter" through collaborative fighting under strong and compelling support of relative departments and active self efforts in coping with severe market situation. Since this year, Baosteel Co., Ltd. Transportation Department faced up to the severe situation of "new normal of winter" in iron and steel industry, and fully displayed location specific advantages and scale effects of finished product wharf and warehouse yard. On the basis of ensuring ex-work of company end products in orderly manner and smooth logistics of mutual-supply materials, on the one hand, it collaborated with Marketing Management Department in transferring shipping of resources from former outside of plant wharf to within the plant wharf; and on the other hand, it continuously expanded social business of finished product wharf, actively visited steel plants and trading merchants in various places to strengthen business communication channel and expand unloading resources of the society. Till October 2015, working volume of pure social goods of loading and unloading at finished product wharf reached 1.0308 million tons, a y-o-y increase of revenue generation from outside sources of 8.83 million yuan.
