Fort Worth-based Novaria Group said April 5 it had acquired the assets of ESNA, Elastic Stop Nut Corporation of America (formerly MacLean ESNA), a manufacturer of nylon insert and all metal fasteners, from MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions for an undisclosed amount. Novaria Group supplies products to the aerospace and defense industries. Novaria will expand the ESNA brand to include complementary aerospace and defense fastener products. ESNA will continue manufacturing operations in 250,000 square feet of combined space in North Richland Hills (formerly Fitz Aerospace) and Pocahontas, Ark. The company has more than 200 employees and was founded in 1927. ESNA will operate within Novaria Fastening Systems, led by Monty Gillespie, Novaria Fastening Systems president. Both ESNA’s Arkansas and Texas facilities will be led by current ESNA general manager, Dave Merwitz, according to Earl Larkin, Novaria executive vice chairman and co-CEO. “ESNA’s capabilities further enhance and diversify our position in the aerospace fastener market,” said Bryan Perkins, co-CEO and president of Novaria Group. “ESNA’s reputation for excellent quality, uniquely diverse products, and brand strength are complementary additions to Novaria’s growing family of threaded fasteners, fittings and fatigue reduction solutions such as bushings and spacers.” MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, a MacLean-Fogg Company division, is a supplier of innovative fasteners, engineered components, engineered plastics, and linkage and suspension products serving many diverse industries. MacLean-Fogg currently operates 40 global manufacturing facilities with annual sales in excess of $1 billion and a workforce of more than 4,000 providing engineered metal and plastic components to markets including automotive, heavy duty truck and electrical power transmission and distribution. Novaria Group, a privately held corporation founded in 2011, has operating platforms including Novaria Fastening Systems, Novaria Surfaces & Structures and Novaria Component Solutions. Business units include Fitz Aerospace; Weatherford Aerospace; John Hassall; V&M Aerospace; Ferco Tech; L&E Engineering; GGF Manufacturing; and Sky Manufacturing.
