The 16th China International Metallurgical Industry Expo was held during May 17 to May 20 in the new pavilion of Beijing China International Exhibition Center. Baosteel participated in the exhibition actively, and exhibited the most typical products, technologies and services of each business sector of Baosteel Group in the era of “Internet+” with the core theme of “Constructing the shared value” and the exhibition slogan of “Joint construction, sharing” to demonstrate Baosteel’s comprehensive competitiveness. The design of Baosteel exhibition stands uses the concept of “one body two wings”, i.e. steel industry as the main body, green premium intelligent manufacturing and platform-based service for steel ecological circle as the two wings. Baosteel’s exhibition stands are divided into 3 exhibition areas. Lean steel manufacturing exhibition zone mainly exhibits Baosteel’s intelligent manufacturing system, Zhanjiang Steel, global debut product and technology innovation, etc. The promotion of Baosteel automotive sheets, Baosteel ultra-light concept body in white, third generation nuclear steel and high efficiency energy saving thin strip casting technology integrated by Baosteel independently after 15 years’ efforts is highlighted. The steel service exhibition zone mainly exhibits Ouyeel--the steel service sharing platform with “joint construction, sharing and trustworthy” as the value, to construct shared ecological circle of steel service. Diversified business exhibition zone mainly exhibits the third party platform “Quanshibao” with transaction of recycled parts of scrapped automobiles as the core, industry automation technologies, remote monitoring and one-stop comprehensive life service e-commerce platform Qicai e-commerce based on life service sector, etc.
