Hunan Union Rail Transit Equipment Manufacturing Innovation Center (HRIC) was established on June 28, 2016. It not only focuses on innovation services, but also aims to build a platform for the development of the whole industrial chain.
At the founding ceremony, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Liu Youmei and French Rail Transit Technician Valentin Dorigny stated that a new round of reform is under gonging in rail transit equipment field because of the constant emergence of dramatic technological innovation. This industry is advancing towards the direction of intelligent and green development from the orientation of high speed, heavy load, convenient, and environmental friendly transportation. Hunan's rail transit enjoys a good reputation in the world and more contributions are expected to be made in collaborative innovation.
It was learned that HRIC joined Hunan's leading enterprises in rail transit equipment field such as CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd., CRRC Zhuzhou Institute and China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. with nearly one hundred related enterprises.
HRIC will play its part in rail transit industry to develop six platforms for joint technology R&D, start-up incubation, intellectual property protection, investment and financing, expert consultation as well as supply and demand information giving.
The innovation center is devoted to provide all-round services for enterprises engaging in rail transit equipment manufacturing and promote the collaborative innovation and coordinated development of upstream and downstream enterprises of the supply chain.
