Xuanhua Iron and Steel Company, subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, actively carried out quality tackle and market linkage focusing on two major themes "market" and "products" from January to July this year. In this period, the sales of GCr15 bearing steels of twelve specifications hit 11,622 tons, breaking a new record. GCr15 bearing steel is the most widely used high-carbon chromium bearing steel featuring in small alloy content and good performance, the production of which is extremely difficult as it requires strict control of the content and distribution of sulfur, phosphorus, and non-metallic inclusions. Currently, GCr15 has become a breakthrough point for Xuanhua Iron and Steel in the R&D of high-end steel products.
