Xu Liyi, secretary of Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee visited C&U Group on July 6, 2016.
Zhang Tongsheng, Chairman of C&U Group accompanied the visit and introduced about the business development to Secretary Xu.
According to Zhang Tongsheng, C&U Group proposed the market position of "developing products for import substitution" when it was originally founded at the beginning of the nineties of the last century. The bearings for electromechanical and household appliances applications produced in this period had reached the international advanced level, thus changed the situation of China's long-term dependence on imports. Up to now, C&U has established a comprehensive production system which includes product development, testing, equipment manufacturing, spare parts processing and bearing manufacturing. The annual production of bearings is more than 800 million units.
In the beginning of this century, C&U entered the automobile industry. And now, C&U plans to enter the wind power, high-speed railway, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and other industries in five years, and form the ability of volume production of supporting bearings for these applications.
At the end of the visit, Secretary Xu expressed the hope that C&U should further increase the R & D investment, take market advantages and improve the competitiveness.
