Vestas receives new wind orders in the U.S.

Vestas has received two new firm and unconditional orders for wind turbines in the United States. For both orders, the customers’ names have not been disclosed at their request. One order comprises 40 MW of Vestas’ V110-2.0 MW turbine components, which will support that client’s future project portfolio. The second order is for 70 MW of various 2.0-MW compatible turbine components, also for a future project pipeline. This order includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines. Multiple turbine components from both orders will be produced at Vestas’ Colorado factories.
