According to "Thirteenth Five-year Development Plan of the Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Industry in Hubei Province" officially released by the government of Hubei province recently, the government of Hubei province will make great efforts to accomplish 200 billion yuan in the output of intelligent equipment manufacturing by 2020, to accelerate the building up of national level intelligent equipment manufacturing base.
In accordance with the “Plan”, focusing on 7 fields, namely high-end CNC machine tools and systems, robotics, intelligent optoelectronic equipment, intelligent equipment of additive manufacturing(3D printing), intelligent transportation equipment, intelligent medical equipment and core infrastructure equipment of intelligent manufacturing, the government of Hubei province will develop the core technology, foster 40 backbone enterprises with an annual revenue over 1 billion yuan and 50 engineering technical services companies which have great influence with strong ability of integration to compete and cooperate with enterprises on the global intelligent manufacturing market.
It is suggested in the "Plan" that based on a multi-level technical innovation system, the government of Hubei province will make vigorous efforts in 9 aspects such as mechanism reform, environmental protection innovation and talent highland etc., to achieve 200 billion yuan in the main business income of the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry , with an annual increase of 19% , building up the most significant production base of intelligent equipment manufacturing industry.
