Siemens Helps the ZWZ Group to Promote Smart Manufacturing
Siemens recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wafangdian Bearing Group Co., Ltd. (ZWZ Group). The two parties will establish long-term strategic partnerships in the three aspects of bearings, Siemens CNC systems and intelligent manufacturing of precision machining.In the process of intelligent and digital transformation project of ZWZ Group, Siemens will assist the ZWZ Group to complete the top-level design, promote the blueprint planning and lean production requirements of the manufacturing project, and refine and offer specific integration plan and implementation program. The two parties will take the "ZWZ Rail Transit Bearing Digital Production Line Project" as the cooperation starting point , and jointly work to build a smart manufacturing demonstration project in Dalian and even the Northeast of China.
Siemens (China) Wang Haibin, executive vice president of the company and general manager of the digital factory group said that the combination of the leading precision machining technology of ZWZ Group and Siemens' advanced digital technology and solutions will become an important milestone for the industry to achieve intelligent manufacturing in China as well as the world.
