First Three Quarters 2004 Financial results of China's Bearing Industry

Statistic from 99 domestic bearing enterprises indicated that during the first three quarters, total value of output were up 19.07%, to RMB 16.3051 billion; sales were up 21.91%, to RMB 16.3051 billion; additional value were up 9.24%, to RMB 4.6052 billion compared with the first three quarter of 2003. The total output of bearings were up 13.08%, to 1.2102 billion sets, from 1.0702 billion sets in the first three quarter 2003; sales were up 13.54%, to 1.207 billion sets, from 1.063 billion sets 2003; export were up 8.94%, to 487 million sets, from 447.1 million sets 2003; stock value were up 4.13%, to RMB 2.925 billion, from RMB 2.809 billion 2003. The total operating income were up 18.30%, to RMB 15.71 billion. Sales of bearing which was a part of the total, were up 19.84%, to RMB 11.91 billion. Export of bearing which was a part of sales of bearings were up 24.20%, to RMB 2.83 billion. Revenue of bearing industry were up 7.43%, to RMB 1.23 billion. Revenue of the 99 enterprises were up in 57, down in 37 and no change in 5 enterprises, compared with the level of last year.
