China Mill Orders MORGOIL® Bearings

The MORGOIL Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract to manufacture MORGOIL Bearings for Tangshan Iron and Steel, of Tangshan City, in the Hebei Province, the People’s Republic of China. The bearings will be installed in a new mill that Tangshan Iron and Steel is building in Tangshan City. Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of MORGOIL, said, "Engineering and technical support for this contract will be supplied by the company’s headquarters facility in Worcester, Mass., while the equipment and manufacturing components will be manufactured at the company's fully owned subsidiary: Morgan-Shanghai manufacturing facility in China." Delivery is scheduled for spring 2005. The MORGOIL Bearing Division provides a wide range of oil film bearing solutions for the most demanding applications in the metal rolling industries worldwide. Its parent firm, Morgan Construction Company, is a designer and producer of high-quality rolling mill products and services for the metal industry worldwide.
