Market Analysis of mini/medium size ball bearing and precision bearing in China

As motor industry has been developing day by day, customers can't be satisfied by the common bearing, what they need are bearings charactered by precision, quiet, well performance, long service life; for example, mute motor bearing or bearing whose working noise under 28db(A). Statisticly, in 2005 the domestic demand for mini/medium size bearings will hit 820 million sets, which include 150 million sets of quiet bearing. At the same time, the amount of world bearing export will reach $48 billion; China's bearing export will be RMB850 million. In 2001, the figure of China's bearing export was 1.54 billion sets, earning $681 million, but what exported were mainly those mini/medium size ball bearings of relatively lower quality. So the average price of our bearings were $0.44, just one fifth or sixth of the price of the same type Euro or U.S. made bearings. It's necessary for us to promote quality of our products and develop quiet motor bearing with high additional value. The feasible way to solve the problem of domestic bearing can be generalized as the follow: Introducing foreign advanced technologies by means of joint venture or sole proprietorship.
