The automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler supports local aid organizations in China with a donation of RMB 6 million, which corresponds to a total of around EUR 800,000. The company is also contributing financially to the fight against the spread of the novel corona virus in China. The money is used to buy medical products, food and other relief supplies for the people in the affected provinces. In order to provide additional support to its employees in the Chinese Schaeffler plants, the company sends out another 100,000 respiratory masks from Germany.
In the course of the spread of the new type of corona virus, Schaeffler took early steps to protect the health and safety of its employees in and outside of China. Georg F. W.
