A new series of right angle helical gear drives from Stock Drive Products (SDP), an ISO 9001:2000 registered manufacturer, feature base or panel mount design. These lightweight units are made with a fiberglass reinforced nylon housing, hardened steel helical gears, steel shafts and nonmetallic bearings. They are identified as the A 2Z11... series and feature both single and double output shaft configurations. They are suited for most industry applications such as for use in printing, packaging and textile machinery. Gear ratios stocked are 1:1 and 2:1. Their maximum rpm is 1800 and their maximum continuous hp is 1/8. Special options for shafts, material and ratios are available on special order.
