To cater to the development of automobile parts market, Yimeng Bearing Co.,Ltd(YBC), in Shandong province China, reevaluated its strategy and focused their businesses on automobile parts market. This change brought them a sales over RMB100 million in 2004 and made them one of the Top 56 Automobile Enterprises in Shandong province.
At the beginning of YBC's founding, they can only manufacture medium and small-sized bearing for mini-car or agricultural mini-van, due to their limited capital and technologies. After several years operation, YBC has accumulated enough capital and technologies now. They can't be satisfied in such a small or medium-sized bearing market where supply exceed demand seriously and they do have the capacity to seek further development.
YBC developed mining machine, tapered roller bearing for automobile with the help of Luoyang Bearing Research Center, Shandong University Mechanic School, Shandong Machine Designing Research School and other academic institutions. Meanwhile, the company shrinked the output of small and medium-sized bearing, successfully finished the transition from small/medium-sized bearing to bearing for heavy trucks. Later, YBC began to produce bearing for large heavy trucks and be authorised to supply bearing for China Heavy Auto Company, China Auto Company No.1/No.2, Chongqing Hongyan Auto Company, Shaanxi Auto Company and Sichuan Auto Company etc. Output and profit of bearings for heavy trucks has accounted for 30% and 60% of the total respectively. Diversify of the products, scale production and maximization of merit has become available in YBC.
In 2005, YBC will pay more attention on enhancing the productivity of bearing for heavy trucks. By means of introducing foreign investment and oversea public offerings, they will collect enough capital and adjust their production structure further. It will be their goal to produce goods with large size, high precision and high value-added characters; to strengthen the company by difference from others and a slogan of "We supply what others can't; What we supply must superior than other's".
