Kia Motors lists Sonet SUV on website, launch on August 7
Kia Motors on Monday has listed its upcoming sub-compact SUV Sonet on the official website ahead of its scheduled launch on August 7.
The South Korean auto major has teased the Kia Sonet through a commercial advertisement as well.
Showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, the Kia Sonet SUV is expected to be available in showrooms in September.
Upon launch, the Kia Sonet SUV will compete with rivals like Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
As it was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, the Kia Sonet SUV gets the automaker's signature tiger-nose grille, LED headlamps, LED taillamps a LED light bar at the back etc.
On the feature front, the Kia Sonet gets 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, similar to the Kia Seltos. Also, it would get UVO Connect system, a Bose sound system.
Power source for the Kia Sonet would be 1.0-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The compact SUV is likely to get Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), which was introduced to the Hyundai Venue recently.
