- Jan 10, Hangzhou Bearing Group Corp. passed ISO9001:2000 certification. - Jan 12, Bencun Chain Restaurant Corp founded, which became the first domestic-funded fast food restaurant in Wenzhou city. - March 23, Mr. Zhang Tongsheng, president of C&U Group, attended the second session of the tenth National People's Congress in Wenzhou. - April 23, Wenzhou C&U Human Resouce Management Co.,Ltd was founded. - April 28, the "C&U News" had published 100th. - May 1, C&U super market cooperation with Hangzhou Baoyu super market. - June 26, C&U Group held the 7th Auction Meeting. - July 12, C&U cooperated with Ningbo Sanli Bearing Co.,Ltd and founded new joint venture. - July 24, the C&U Electronic Super Market system was awarded as model informatization project of Wenzhou. - Aug 10, C&U held the Second University-Enterprise Cooperating Meeting. About 30 famous domestic universities attended this meeting. - Sep 7, C&U invited organizing expert from German SES to conduct. - Oct 1, the 6th Employee Games of C&U Group held in Hangzhou. - Oct 20, C&U Group donated 100 thousand to help the poors in China. - Nov 20, the article, Standard of Double-Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing for Auto Air Conditioning Magnet Clutch, drafted by C&U and other institutions have been approved by China National Technical Committee of Standardization for rolling bearing. - Dec 6, C&U spent RMB32 million to purchase part property right of Huangshi Bearing Plant. - Dec 12, Hangzhou Bearing Group Corp.(the first subsidiary of C&U) founded.
