The predecessor of the Kecheng Eco-Industrial Park was the "Zhejiang Packaging Material Industry Professional Zone" established in May 2003. The park has a total land area of 7.2 square kilometers and has been developed 2.5 square kilometers. The original industry has a prominent problem of "low fragmentation".
