Oil film bearings belong to the category of fully liquid lubricated bearings, as the core of modern rolling mills, the oil film bearings of TYHI can withstand a single 6,700 tons of pressure, equivalent to the weight of more than 4,000 ordinary family cars, so the reliability of oil film bearings design and development is crucial. "In all the oil film bearings, the static and dynamic pressure oil film bearings made by TYHI are very complicated in the design stage because they combine the characteristics of both static and dynamic pressure oil film bearings."Chen Zonghao said that when rolling plates in the mill, the stronger the rolling force, the greater the bearing capacity, the more time-consuming and complex the calculation. Compared with the general oil film bearing, the static and dynamic pressure oil film bearing not only has greater bearing capacity, but also faces more complex working conditions. In the past, designers usually used empirical formulas and analogical calculations when calculating load, which required a lot of time to query massive parameters, and sometimes even needed multiple experiments according to specific working conditions to get results.


The application of simulation technology successfully solved this problem, the designer used software to establish a special oil film bearing model for load calculation, and carried out simulation experiments on the computer to reflect the real production process, so as to analyze and predict in advance. Simulation

modeling makes all the data visible, just like the weather forecast chart, the bearing data at each position is clearly displayed in different colors on the model, which greatly simplifies the bearing calculation process and improves production efficiency .
