ABB Offers Motor Solutions at 2024 EASA Convention

Visit ABB at the 2024 EASA Convention from June 23-27, at Caesars Forum and Harrah's Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. Media is invited to meet with ABB experts to learn about selecting innovative motor solutions essential for various applications and processes and discover new products, services, and digital solutions. ABB will unveil the ABB RXT series at 2:45 p.m. on Monday, June 24, at the ABB Booth 509, along with the new ABB NEMA Motors DP200 Crush+ and Baldor-Reliance FoodSafe SP5+.

Media are welcome for exclusive one-on-one interviews with product experts. Jamie Robinson, ABB Motion Services Product Manager, will be available to discuss and demonstrate technology migration for cabinet-built drive modernization through hardware retrofits and upgrades. 

Robert Boyce, Local Division Manager, IEC LV Motors, and Dave Hawley, Global Markets and Sales for ABB IEC LV Motors. will be available to discuss the full range of IEC LV solutions for the U.S. market including SynRM with efficiency levels up to IE6. 

Additionally, other ABB representatives will be on hand to discuss the comprehensive range of services and digital solutions for motors, generators and drives.

New Products

The new ABB NEMA Motors DP200 Crush+ is engineered to exceed industry expectations for severe-duty motors, featuring IP65 protection, Class H insulation, and high Design A breakdown torques. This motor stands out for its field-flexible design, allowing for F1/F2/F3 conduit box changes to be made on-site.

The improved Baldor-Reliance FoodSafe SP5+ boasts the same FASR (ferrite-assisted synchronous reluctance) rotor design as the award-winning EC Titanium™ motor. It comes in an IP69 washdown, stainless-steel housing, making it ideal for food-safe environments.

The ABB RXT series of Reliance legacy motors is built to withstand the most demanding conditions. These modified-to-order (MTO) and engineered-to-order (ETO) motors are crafted to meet customer requirements, leveraging the renowned Reliance designs and engineering. These robust motors are perfect for industries requiring large, heavy-duty motors that comply with NEMA Premium energy efficiency standards.
