"Night of training" at Schaeffler with a diverse programme and extensive information opportunities

Six apprenticeships, six focal points in dual study programmes

Insight into transparent application procedures and training content

At the location Schweinfurt can meet on Friday, 26. From 17–22 in July, numerous young people with an interest in apprenticeships and dual studies return to Schaeffler's state-of-the-art training centre. At the "Night of Training", Motion Technology Company offers an extensive program with detailed insights into the application procedures and training opportunities at the headquarters of the Bearings and Industrial Solutions division.

The event will focus on 2024 in total 12-year apprenticeships and study opportunities. These include the training occupations of industrial mechanics, mechatronics technician, machine and plant operator, industrial clerk, specialist warehouseman and IT specialist, as well as the dual study courses of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, computer science, industrial engineering and business informatics.

Personal exchange with trainees and contact persons from a wide range of company divisions

Interested parties can obtain information on training content and student internships on site, as well as helpful tips on the application process and aptitude tests. Personal exchange plays a central role in the "Night of Training". Contact persons from all professions and disciplines are always available for questions. In addition to the trainers, there are also more than one hundred trainees on site who participate in the various stations and provide exciting insights into their everyday working life.

The training centre consists essentially of eleven technology cubes in which the practical training is carried out. These include robotics, CNC technology, additive manufacturing processes with 3D printers and augmented reality applications in the digital laboratory. Visitors can try out the tools and technologies that are part of the vocational training directly on site and thus gain first practical experience in their desired area.

Diverse supporting program with "bungee run" and virtual welding

In the outdoor area, visitors can test their strength during a bungee run, prove their accuracy at football darts or take souvenir photos in the photo box. Live music and a mobile pizza maker provide food and entertainment during the event. Inside there is a "giant foosball table" and you can play the video game Mario Kart. Overall, however, the focus is on the concrete training content: There are hands-on stations where hearts can be welded or flashing lights can be soldered and much more. The virtual welding plant and a Carrera car racetrack are also available.

Just in time for the "Night of Training", Schaeffler officially opens its application portal for the start of training 2025. From this point on, interested applicants have the opportunity to apply for a future-oriented apprenticeship at Schaeffler.

Access to the event is via Fritz-Drescher-Straße in Schweinfurt. There are plenty of parking spaces at "Gate 4" and pilots point the way to the training center.
