ZKL Group traditionally participated between April 11 to 15, 2005 in the Hannover Fair organized by Deutsche Messe corporation. This fair is identified as the world largest show of engineering industry, electrical engineering and automation technology.
This year the world-class significance of this fair was further underlined by personal attendance at the opening ceremony by Russian Chairman Mr. Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Mr. Gerhard Schröder, during which a new course in cooperation of both countries was promoted, among others.
ZKL Group had its representation in the hall No. 22, site C42, where it shared the exhibition stand with ZVL Deutschland, the distribution company for Germany. In this hall there were also the exhibitions of SKF, FAG, SNR, NKE, TIMKEN and other roller bearings manufacturers.
Our companies were commercially represented by the Director of ZKL Bearings CZ Mr. Vladimir Hradek and by Mme. Jana Parizkova, Head of European Sales of the same company. Technical consultations were handled by Mr. Jan Sichler of ZKL - Vyzkum a vyvoj, a.s.
In frame of their other programs the fair was visited by the Director of Technical and Manufacturing Development of ZKL a.s. Mr. Leos Silhan, Director of ZKL - Vyzkum a vyvoj, a.s. Mr. Vladimir Zikmund and Executive Director of the manufacturing company ZKL Brno, a.s. Mr. Jan Otoupalik Jr., who at the same time reinforced our stand.
The world-class significance of Hannover Messe was also evident by the variety of visitors at our stand, representing practically the entire world from Asia over Africa up to South America. Though the contracting character of trade fairs is felt to be on the decline worldwide, we have concluded and signed several contracts of great importance in course of the fair. The two days' fair program of the General Manager of ZKL Group Mr. Jiri Prasil also greatly contributed to these results.
