Robot and bearing technology docking exchange meeting held in China Shanghai
On November 25, 2024, the 2024 China International Bearing and Special Equipment Exhibition was grandly opened in Shanghai, attracting guests from all walks of life. In the afternoon of the same day, the "Robot and Bearing Technology Docking Exchange Conference" co-organized by the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association and the China Bearing Industry Association was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). More than 50 representatives from robot host and component companies and bearing companies attended the meeting. Wang Jihong, Secretary-General of the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association, and Yang Jinfu, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Bearing Industry Association, presided over the meeting and delivered speeches on behalf of both parties.
Secretary-General Wang Jihong elaborated on the important role played by bearings in robot systems. He also introduced the achievements of my country's robot industry from five aspects: industry scale, innovation capability, application scenarios, regional development, and robot density.
Deputy Secretary-General Yang Jinfu gave a detailed introduction to the development of the bearing industry since the "14th Five-Year Plan" from the aspects of industry scale, industry structure, industry layout, innovation system, innovative products, leading enterprises, and development trends, focusing on the research and development progress of robot bearings.
Representatives of companies in the robot industry such as Efort, Aobo, Zhejiang Huandong, Green Harmonic, Yiyou Technology, and Gaoqing Electromechanical analyzed the special application scenarios of robot bearings and the key role played by bearings in their speeches, and elaborated on the functional and technical requirements for bearings in the development and application of industrial robots, humanoid robots, and key robot components.
Representatives from the bearing industry, including ZYS, C&U, CW bearing, HONB Bearing, Bahuan Technology, and Great Wall Precision, introduced their experiences in developing robot bearings, especially the usage characteristics and technical indicators of flexible bearings for harmonic gear reducers, precision bearings for RV reducers, and thin-walled bearings for robots.
During the free docking session, the two sides exchanged views on issues of respective concern, and hoped that this meeting would serve as an opportunity for the two sides to further join hands, strengthen cooperation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of my country's bearing and robotics industries.
