China first fully intelligent steel structure component production line was put into use in 2025 May

In the Wuye Group (Chengdu) Building Technology Industrial Park Steel Structure Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Jianyang Economic Development Zone, Sichuan, the country's first fully intelligent steel structure component production line is expected to be officially launched in May 2025. This production line demonstrates the new height of future intelligent manufacturing - from raw material processing to finished product output, there is no need for direct human participation. All processes are precisely controlled by the MES system and the central control system, and the production status is monitored in real time using digital twin technology, realizing true unmanned operation.

Not only limited to the field of green buildings, the world's largest wind power bearing manufacturing base also plans to complete the commissioning of three production lines of the second phase project in June this year. "Chengdu-made" wind power bearings are rapidly expanding their production capacity to meet the growing market demand.

The advancement of these major projects fully reflects Chengdu's strong momentum in the direction of high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing, and injects new vitality into local industrial upgrading.

Advanced production lines enhance the competitiveness of "Chengdu Intelligent Manufacturing"

The core structural materials of many landmark buildings in Chengdu, such as the Chengdu Global Center, Asia's largest single building, and the popular Wuchazi Bridge, are all from the Wuye Group (Chengdu) Building Technology Industrial Park Steel Structure Intelligent Manufacturing Base. Now, the base has announced that the first fully intelligent steel structure component production line in China has entered the final debugging stage, and will complete the installation of hardware facilities including automated driving and laser cutting within this month, and is expected to be put into use in May.

On the intelligent production line, every step from raw material cutting to component assembly is automatically performed by efficient machinery. At present, technicians are going all out to carry out the final debugging work to ensure the smooth operation of the production line.

"This is the first time we have applied fully intelligent technology to produce steel structures with a width of no more than one meter." The relevant person in charge of Wuye Group introduced, "Through the integration of MES system and intelligent equipment, automatic material handling and processing can be achieved, which is at least 30% more efficient than traditional processes."

It is revealed that after full operation, the base will be able to produce up to 160,000 tons of steel structures each year, further consolidating the competitive advantage of "Chengdu Smart Manufacturing" products in high-rise buildings, bridge construction and other fields.

Tianma Precision Bearing accelerates intelligent manufacturing of large bearings

At the same time, at the Tianma Precision factory in the European Industrial City, a new large bearing intelligent manufacturing production line is being intensively prepared. Faced with the growing market demand for high-quality bearings, Tianma Precision has accelerated its pace to improve its production capacity to support the development of industries such as rail transit and wind power equipment. At present, the company has become one of the world's largest wind power bearing manufacturers, accounting for 30% of the world's new installed capacity, of which the offshore wind power market share is close to 50%.

The second phase of the Tianma Large Bearing Intelligent Manufacturing Base project, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, is under intensive construction and is expected to be completed and put into production by 2027. By then, about 120 high-precision production equipment will be added to further strengthen its leadership in the global market.
