On April 25, 2025, a modern bearing production base in Waigang Town, Jiading District, Shanghai was officially put into operation. This joint bearing production base built by Shanghai Jiyou Machinery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Electric, has become a comprehensive industrial base integrating sales, R&D, procurement and high-end manufacturing after comprehensive transformation and upgrading. The completion of this project not only improves the technical level of the local manufacturing industry, but also injects new vitality into the regional economic development.

It is reported that the design capacity of the new base has reached 40 million sets of high-precision bearings per year.
