China Remain the Fourth Largest Machine Manufacturing Country in the World

According to the data from VDMA, the total output value of world machinery manufacturing industry has reached Euro1100 billion in 2004, up 10 percent from last year. Europe, Aisa and America was regarded as the 3 biggest machinery markets in the world. Output value of European machinery industry hit Euro430 billion in 2004. Asia was the market where machinery industry developed the most quickly. Their output value hit Euro335 billion which exceed the Euro282 billion that created by America machinery industry. But U.S.A, with annual output value of Euro240 billion, became the largest machine manufacturing country in the world, left far behind Japan who ranked second with annual output value of Euro185 billion. With annual output value over Euro77 billion, China remained the fourth largest country in the world in machine manufacturing. The gap between China and the third largest Germany whose annual output value was Euro155 billion has been narrowed further. Additionally, China and U.S.A, different from European countries and Japan, manufactured machines mainly for their own use.
