Weekly summarization of bearing steel market in China dated from Oct 8 to 14

From Sept. 23 to 30, the price of bearing steel is relatively stable with negative price-trend. The declination ranges from RMB 100 to RMB 300 per ton. But the price of bearing steel made in domestic factories increases gradually. The price details are as follow:
The competition of common bearing steel (non-anneal) made in East China is fierce. And the declination is visible. The price declination of bearing steel in other areas (non-anneal) ranges from RMB 100-200 per ton.
Bearing steel is mainly used for rolling bearing and rings. With the rapid development of machinery manufacturing, especially automobile, aeronautics and atomic industry, bearing is more extensively used. The bearing designing aims at light, thin-walled and miniature products. The manufacturers try to develop a kind of bearing without noise, vibration and trouble and with high reliability. The performance should be improved. The special bearings are needed, which is charcterized with high temperature enduring, high speed, heavy load capacity, anti-corrosion and anti-radiation. The bearing steel with low cost but well performance will be developed.
The domestic market of bearing steel is pessimistic. The competition focuses on the low-price product. And the supply exceeds the demand slightly. Great differences of bearing steel exist between China and other countries, and the supply does not meet the demand.
Concerning stock, more distributors cease to get a supply to guard against overstocking. In purchase strategy, according to the actual sales, end users get a little supply or require long term favorable policies. So there is not much stock.
About material, the ferrochrome operates normally in the market. Currently, the quoted price in the leading factories is RMB 5800 per ton. Now the macroeconomics is so weak that teh increasing speed of demand is lower than supply.
The price of bearing steel is relative stable with a little declination and the transaction volume of the major manufacturers is rare. The price details are listed according to the area:
In east China GCr15 made in Xingcheng and Huarui is RMB 4100-4150per ton. GCr15 (100mm) anneal made in Dazhi and Xining is RMB 5600-6000per ton.
In central China, GCr15 is RMB 4010-4200per ton, GCr15 ( 100mm) anneal is RMB 5700-6000 per ton.
In western market, GCr15 made in Changte, Shigang and Dazhi is 4600, 4200 and 4600 per ton separately. Cr15 (100mm) anneal made in Xining is RMB 5800 per ton.
In northern market, GCr15 made in Dondte is RMB 4200per ton, GCr15 (100mm) anneal is RMB 5000-5700 per ton.
Taken together, the quoted price sliped further during this week, and the transaction volume is rare.
