From Dec. 2005 on, the price of bearing steel continue slide to 3800yuan/ton. By the end of 2005, all mills began to try their best to reach their annual transaction target. Competition among the mills were limited to the aspects of cost, sales channel and sales strategy. Althrough mills began to shrink their steel capaciy since last October, constant competition also placed a negative impact on the steel price. Predictively, this trend will cover the whole January 2006.
