Statistically, average oxygen content of bearing steel made by Dalian Jinniu 2th Mill had been contained at 6.93ppm from Nov. to Dec. 2005. Some of the steel's oxygen contect even hit 6.69ppm. During the first 11 months in2005, Dalian Jinniu's average steel oxygen content stayed at 8.84ppm; in 2004, that figure was 9.09ppm. All of these resulted from the technological reformation carried out since Sept. 2005. In the course of that technological reformation, staffs did lots of analyzing and calculating works on steel slag, raw material, craft and general cost. As a result, their production cost was lowered, operation process was simplified, interference in the production was dcreased and steel quality got improved. Dalian Jinniu Co.,Ltd It's a publicly traded company(Shenzhen exchange: 000961), formed by Dongbei Special Steel, Wafangdian Bearing Group Co.,Ltd, Lanzhou Carbon Group Corp. and Jilin Carbon Stock Co.,Ltd. They have 9 subsidiaries, mainly produce stainless, bearing and other special steel.
