At this year's Maintec exhibition in the UK, INA FAG will be showcasing its newly developed Detector III, which is the latest addition to the company's portfolio of damage diagnosis instruments. The Detector series is a tried and tested and easy-to-use measuring system which can not only detect imbalances in machinery but also eliminate them. The new addition to the range, the Detector III, can be used to balance any rotors or shafts in one or two planes and is available with an extended operational balancing function thanks to new redeveloped hardware.
As the operational balancing function is optional, it can be activated at a later stage if users wish to start with the basic function.
The Detector III balancing device includes the full range of accessories required to carry out a balancing process such as sensory equipment, trigger, magnetic holder, reflection marks etc.
With a built-in step-by-step user dialogue, the Detector III series will allow even inexperienced operators to achieve a reliable and accurate balancing result.
In addition to the Detector III series INA will also be exhibiting its full complement of condition monitoring products and services.
* Easy Check Online is the perfect solution for monitoring machinery in hard to reach areas.
Easy Check Online is cost-effective and offers an 'early warning system' of any pending damage to machinery.
It can be fixed to the machine via an existing screw thread in the housing, using either the standard adaptor or other available adaptors for different sized screw threads.
Once applied, it will immediately trigger an alarm if imbalances, errors of alignment or bearing damage make themselves felt in the form of vibration or temperature deviations - either through direct visual contact or via the central control panel.
* Concept 6 is an intelligent lubrication system which can be used for either single or multi-point lubrication.
The Concept 6 series is ideally suited to extreme applications and can be used both indoors and out.
Each system within the series discharges precise amounts of lubricant over extended periods and has an accurate and easy to read LED display.
The Concept 6 series is available in either battery powered or machine controlled options.
* The DTECTX1 series is an effective and value for money range of online monitoring devices that enables permanent frequency-selective monitoring.
The great advantage of the DTECTX1 is that it includes features which are usually only available in far more expensive online systems.
* VibroCheck is a PC-based vibration monitoring system used for permanent monitoring of vital machine elements such as roller bearings and gears.
Up to 2048 sensors can be attached to the system, which measures vibration signals as well as other physical quantities such as temperature, power, pressure, etc.
* Praxis is a service partnership between INA FAG and Corus Northern Engineering Services (CNES) that will offer plant engineers and maintenance managers a unique solution for all condition monitoring needs throughout the UK.
Skilled condition monitoring services such as vibration analysis, acoustic emission monitoring and thermography are all available through Praxis.
Hardware and software systems from FAG are also available to support the installation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of complete condition monitoring systems by Praxis engineers.
