Roundup of China's Bearing Steel Market Dated Jan.6 to 13

From Jan.6 to 13, there was a slight price slide in the medium and low end bearing steel market, however, price of anneal bearing steel remain stable. Up to Jan.13, the average price of bearing steel(without anneal treatment) was over 4128 yuan/ton, 32 yuan lower than the previous week; average price of bearing steel(anneal) kept at 5643 yuan/ton, no change from the previous week. In last week, steel price in most China markets are stable but price in middle-east China market became lower because of the fierce competition between Xingcheng and Beiman Special Steel. In addition, new steel mills' arising also decreased the bearing steel price in that region. Currently, competition in medium and low end bearing market is so fierce. As a result, lower price made those bearings more competitive in world market. What's more, China made bearings, especially the medium and low end ones, are as reliable as Japan made ones but much cheaper than Japan made bearings.
