On November 28, at the production site of ZWZ Group's super large bearing, the inner and outer sleeves of the 8 MW Spindle bearing were successfully processed and slowly entered the assembly room. The test results showed that all technical indicators met the standard requirements and passed the customer acceptance smoothly.

The Spindle bearing is the core component of wind turbine, known as the "heart" of wind turbine. Due to high technical barriers and low localization rate, the domestic market is monopolized by foreign brands. ZWZ Group adheres to the innovation driven development strategy, increases scientific and technological investment and R&D strength, and has made continuous breakthroughs in the R&D and production of wind turbine bearings. With the increase of new models developed by customers, the blades become longer, which requires higher bearing capacity and more detailed simulation and verification to meet customer customization requirements.

In the process of research and development, the research and development team of ZWZ Group combined design technology, material technology and manufacturing technology, overcame many difficulties, developed two types of Spindle bearing, namely tapered roller and self-aligning roller, and matched fans from 4 megawatts to 8 megawatts, which realized mass supply for customers in the year of research and development. Moreover, the multi specification wind bearing has filled the domestic blank and reached the advanced level of the international industry.

The size of the Spindle bearing of the megawatt fan is increased, the requirements for precision are high, and the manufacturing is particularly difficult. ZWZ Group has compressed the production cycle through continuous process research. At present, the orders for wind power main shaft bearings have doubled, and the supply of 4 MW to 7 MW main shaft bearings is in short supply. In ZWZ Group, not only high-end products such as wind power bearing, shield machine cutter head bearing, silicon steel Senjimir mill backup roll bearing and gearbox bearing have been successfully developed, which has replaced imported products for customers, and orders are growing steadily.

The domestic leading production line of fully intelligent precision angular contact ball bearings has been put into production, and has begun to provide customers with new energy vehicle bearings and ball screw support bearings for precision machine tools to replace imported ones in batches; The wind power spindle bearing project located in Dalian Free Trade Zone is accelerating its construction. The first production line will be put into operation in June next year. It will introduce new development concepts, advanced management methods, an international talent team and a green, low-carbon and intelligent manufacturing mode, so as to realize the localization of "high precision, special and new" equipment such as new energy sources of wind power in China.

This year, ZWZ Group increased its investment and transformation efforts, with a project investment of 1 billion yuan, focusing on promoting 12 key projects such as wind power spindle bearings. We will vigorously promote independent innovation and cooperative innovation, consolidate the European R&D center, and build a Shanghai R&D center. We will strengthen basic theoretical research by building four digital and international R&D platforms that combine basic, cutting-edge, and applied research. Focus on solving problems, cooperate with well-known domestic universities, break through the key technologies of high-end product R&D, design and manufacturing, and achieve major breakthroughs in replacing imports.
