Cage:
Spherical roller bearings, of which C-type bearings are mostly steel plate stamping cages, and engineering plastic cages such as glass fiber reinforced polyimide. CA-type bearings use brass solid cages.
Axial load carrying capacity:
Due to the unique structure of spherical roller bearings, they can withstand large pure radial loads and even pure axial loads.
